Idle relearn issues
It seems my 6 speed cl wont relearn the idle in anyway with a vacuum leak and i was wondering how to get around that since the bseries tb im using on the TL has a small vacuum leak and im thinking i wont be able to get the idle to relearn and it will just bounce the rpms endlessly and im not trying to buy a new throttle body anybody got some knowledge for me?

To say the least, you are going to have to contend with the vacuum leak to find joy.
With that said, If you are using the p2r b series tb adapter you may need to modify the 'fittings' as discussed / depicted on the thread below?
Good Luck

Can you elaborate on what do you mean, by the throttle body has a small vacuum leak?
By design, throttle bodies in essence are a controlled vacuum leak. If you're getting surging (hunting and searching) idle, then you are getting too much air, which in turn the IAC is not going to be able to maintain control.
I probably should go back and update the thread that Zeta linked above with my fix.

Yes sorry i mean i had my mechanic smoke test it when i put my bigger ported mani and the b series tb on my TL and said he got rid of all the leaks except one on the throttle body stem or shaft i forget exactly his wording but he said some leak from the factory or its's a spot you can see a leak start to happen with aftermarket tb's. So this leak isn't caused by my adapter i already dealt with that and p2rs iac being a little funky on my auto and having trouble with that tells me i might be set up for failure putting it on my 6 speed its a blocks billet 76mm b series tb btw
If anything, I would expect the manual to idle better, because the load from the torque converter would be removed. In any case good luck with finding a resolution to your idle problem.
There is more discussion on the thread below if you have not already researched it.
