J35 12:1 CR Dyno

Drove out to xact dyno in Phoenix today. Made 289.6 whp and 260 ft lbs torque.

As evident from the graph, hp climbs steadily to around 6300. But, torque falls sharply from around 5000 on. I had hoped to make 300hp, but it seems the 3" cat is holding the motor back.

In any case the car drives a lot better than before the tune, with an aggressive take off, yet pretty tame and mild when cruising. AC, heat, power steering and heated seats still work as they should.

So after coming up short on whp decided to order a higher flowing cat. This is what I went with:

Xforce 200 cell 3" cat

Will be welding it up here shortly. I'll spare the amateur weld pics.
