WRX Vs. CLS6--Hilarious
This is funny read all...
I think its official we can take the Wrx's from a dig. Its the 3 one now.
It was an 04'ish (non STi) with exhaust and he kept toyin with me. Of course he was doin it cause his girl was in the car and he thought he was gonna take me for a walk.
We get to a light and I see him smokin his cig like he was top shit revin lightly. When it turns green we both WOT and he had be by barley the front quarter panel, then I shifted in to second peelin out for a second but when it gripped I instantly gained back up to him. Then came third and by I would say 5500 rpm he was at my gas tank lid.
When we stop he's like holy shit that quick, is that the 3.2 TL...< Poor idiot. You just got schooled in front of your girl AND you dont even know your cars. Hes not gettin laid tonight. Haha I love when that happens.

Good job, so 5500 in 3rd on the 6MT is like...80 mph? How far ahead were you when you called it? I know because of our altitude, FI cars here seem to perform a bit closer to their sea level counterparts than NA cars do.. After reading your mods list I wouldn't doubt the outcome. IIRC exhaust also adds more power ncrease to FI cars than NA.
I only have headers, k&n drop in, and crappy 5AT for go mods, and I raced a new body style 04+ WRx wagon on the highway the other night from 50 to 80. I had no backseat/console and no spare/tools, but a 225 pound passenger, so it was probably a bit heavier than a normal CL s w/ just driver. So we triple honk and floor it at identical times which was awesome, I had dropped from 3rd to 2nd which put me at like 5200rpm. I walked on him immediately and steadily. By the time I upshifted to third (between 75-80) and the needle dropped back/caught the torque band again, we had gone from side by side to his front bumper being near my rear bumper. I decided that said enough right there and slowed back down...
