Went to the Track tonight

I raced 8 times. I won 6 lost 2. Took down a 300zx and was pretty happy about that. It was a huge rush racing. My best time was a 9.72

They had some street bikes racing that got up to 140 mph on the 1/8 which is insane. One bike guy fell over the bike and held on the whole way until he hit a cone in the middle of the track going about 80, he was ok besides some road rash and bumps

All in all a fun night of racing, Pics comming on monday

Ok, nice run (and 300z kill) but per your sig, you ran 9.72!? I've got to be missing something here! Fill me in, what else do you have on that beast?

Ummm a 9.72 1/8th time is like a 15.0, which is not really that good for your mods. My 6 speed runs 14.2-14.3 it was like 9.2's in the 1/8th.

Maybe go on a cooler day, hot temps kill 1/4 times.

If it would have been 1/4 mile your time would have been 14.94 @ 94.53 MPH with a 2.35 60FT.

Not too bad of times. Isn't 15.0 really close to stock times?

Well look who it is. Wrap that M3 yet Mr. Expert driver?

And sounds like you had fun at the track and congrats on the kills. Not sure, but what is a normal 1/8 mile time for our cars? And what kinda cars did you lose to?

When I ran my 14.39 @ 96.9mph in the 1/4... I had a 9.35 @ 75.96mph in the 1/8th.

That's with a 6speed with CT IceBox.

Thats all that matters.

Just next time go on a cool day, inflate the rears to 45psi, do not have more than a 1/4 tank of gas, remove all heavy crap from the car, brake-tq at 2k rpm, and experiment with sS & gate-shifting. Should knock off at least a couple tenths.
