Water injection?

Anyone know about the Jackson water injection system? I heard that they are really good at putting off detonation, pinging, at high RPM. I'm having a problem with missfiring at high RPM and wondering if this might help out?

Unless you running some sorta forced induction system you do not need a water injection or propane injection system.

NM.

I see you have a 9 PSI S/C in your sig.

What do the F/A graphs on your dyno show?

Have you measured your IAT at full boost?

I would recommend any of these

You really need to check the A/F numbers, we need to see where that is at before resorting to H2O injection.

Yeah, try to use wideband AFR monitor like ZT-2 by Zeitronix and see where you at especially up top. That way you can see your AFR/BOOST/EGT values while your driving and analyze later through data logger. Or put it on the dyno (Dynojet 248c) and post the AFR.

I got the aquamist 1S system w/ pre-charged accumulation tank. My car tends to run rich as I can smell the uncombusted gasoline when I removed the intake manifold. My AFR is around 12.5-13 with injection.

ok, i hooked my obd2 scan tool up to my car. i was seeing temps from 90 to 160, 60 degrees f ambient, at full throttle; however, my water pump has been making strange noises (squeeling like pig), and i had a hose that was slightly restricted. i ordered more fittings and a new pump from jegs to fix that problem, expensive as shit!

anyway, scalbert, what types of temps were you seeing at wot?

With 70 ambient, I would see 90 - 100 F post IC.

I'm curious about the IAT readings though. The IAT is very slow to respond and I never registered that high. My readins were taken with thermocouples.

Man, I wish I was running those IAT temps. W/o water injection, I was running 160ish WOT at 70 ambient.
