Isn't there an expression that goes, "Light, strong, or cheap: pick any two"?

That's the Size Tire I want for my Next Set !

I think 18 lbs is sort of Middle of the Road. 15 and Under is Lite, IMO.

Ok so I went to tirerack.com and called up today to ask about the rims I liked on their site. I picked the Mille Miglia Action. thought they looked the nicest. The guy said they weigh 18 pounds a piece. Is that too heavy or is that still considered light? How heavy are the stock rims and HOW MUCH IMPROVEMENT will I see with 18 pound rims? Also they are cheap, money is not really an issue but I like these and want to know if they are good strong rims even though they are only 200 a piece. Just checking with everyone before I order them tell me what you think or what I should get anything you want really. Also the guy said the stock tires for those would be the best but I want to put 225/50/16 Dunlop 5000's anyone have any opinions on that?
Thanks, Anthony

Ok well Like I said the money is not an Issue. Three things are Important. Light, Nice Looking and Strong. So if anyone knows of nice wheels direct me to the website and I will give them a look and make my decision but right now tirerack.com is my only place i'm basing everything on now. Thanks

Why don't you call the guy back and ask him to give you a listing of rims that fit the CL ordered by weight, then chek them out and make your decision. 18 pounds is not bad but there are lighter rims, for what I've heard around here.

I have a 3.2 CL-P. My dad got it for me so now i'm just trying to do what I can to make it a little quicker.

I did he gave me about 5 rims that were lighter than the Mille's but i liked none of them. That is why I was wondering if anyone else had any better sites. Or any company model suggestions

Ok I called the guy at tirerack.com
He said best one would be the SSR Comp. 17x8 with Dunlop Sport 5000 235/45/17 Wheels and Tires with Shipping would be about $2,200. That's a decent amount there but if they work hey. He said those weigh 14.2 pounds a piece. Now the second lightest are the Kosei K1 Racing that weigh 15 pounds a piece and I would put Dunlop Sport 5000 225/50/16 on them the whole package would cost $1,400. My question to you guys is only being a pound lighter is it worth spending $800 more for the SSR's cause if it is and they are that much better, I'll get them. Thanks, Anthony

I think sicne I got about 20-25 pairs of shoes/sneakers/sandals I'm pretty well set in the shoe department. Come on I got Italian leather shoes that cost more than your monthly car payment. ANd remember kids it's not what you have it is what you paid. :P

What are those, and where can I find a bigger pic? They look nice, but I can't see them very well.
