When i was driving home saturday night, i noticed that my VSA light was half illuminated. VSA was on so the light/triangle should have blended in with everything else that was black. It kinda looked like the light from the gas guage and temperature guage was making my yellowish VSA light up. Does anyone else's car have this? I never noticed it before so i think there might be something wrong.

I got that too! I thought that maybe I never notice it before, until maybe two weeks ago. I think that there may be a plastic divider that has slipped or moved or something that is lettin light in from somewhere. Mine is dark on top and then gets lighter at the bottom. When you turn it off the whole thing lights normally. Is yours the same way? Can someone confirm if this is normal???

My light also has a dimness to it at night time. I dont know why it does that... kinda bugs the shit outs me. So what i do is turn it off so its all the way yellow.

ughhh, that yellow light bothers me! I was doing everything to try to make it go away. I swear it wasn't there before. Kinda glad to know that i'm not the only one with the problem.

Mine does that too. I just thougt that VSA turned on for a split second and was just glowing afterwards. But i also noticed it happen out of the blue too. I would then turn on VSA and then turn it back off and some times it would go away sometimes it wouldn't. Very strange.

Mine is the same too. I thought this happened after I bought the car and perhaps, I didn't notice it until a few months ago ! The bottom half is illuminated !

Its everyones, its not car specific, just dim the console a little and it would go away, you probably have it set on brightest. Yes I agree that should not happen but it does So just dim the console just a bit, just enought to remove it from brightest setting. I know it helped me.

I like having the dash lit brightly at night, so I don't like having to dim the dash light in order for the VSA glow to go away. It seems to glow more brightly the longer the car is running. I first noticed it a month ago and only the bottom half was illuminated. Now it seems like the entire VSA light has a slight glow and it seems more intense as time goes on.

I am guessing that if the severity increases with time, there is something burning through the separators in the dash. I don't have time to do it, but does anyone want to take it to the dealer and see what's up?

HAs ANy body found out what this is? It just started happening to me today. I have a 2001 cls with 32000 miles. Maybe there is some common factor with all these cars. Hopefully its something little, but I have no answers. Does anybody have a reason why?
