Personally thats how I think Honda/Acura engines are known to last longer. Due to the fact that we run rich it keeps temps down, good for our aluminium parts which have a lower melting point than iron or steel.

You guys keep posting dyno sheets one of which stated SR&C. I lived in Boca. Been there done that. Joe still there? Those guys worked on my Vette extensively (put in a DFI system and did a real good job of messing with the fuel mapping) they also worked and raced with a close friend of mine that had a modded 2nd gen RX-7.

Haaaa yea Joe is still there, older guy right. The guy who did my dyno was George. Cool as shit, we talked for an hour after the dyno. Great place, and what I think what really gets them to get more customers than the other dynoes W on 441 around Glades, is the price and the ammount of dyno pulls that they would do. Guys are very professional.

Yeah, the dyno work is fine - as for the rest of the work, I have been less than thrilled, but maybe they are better at this point. I have not been there in a few years. When I dealt with them about my Vette I was pretty upset with the work they did. They stuck the new DFI computer under the passenger rug. I mean right under the rug where the passengers feet went. Not cool. Anyway, don't mean to slam them, but be careful if they do any work on your car. I do know they are pretty good with nitrous set-ups, but we never got to that point on the Vette.

Naples was a nice place, but too damn quiet. I would go over the Ft Laud for some fun. I have only been in Sarasota about 6 weeks(for work) and am not sure how I feel about it. Right now, just feel out of place. Boca was sweet, but also real f-ing busy during season. How do you like WPB?

And if Nashua and the rest are on the right track with MMI and MMII . . . we could have some real HP gains in store . . .

So what would a 3.5 upgrade, MMods and the chip do?

Yeehaa!!!

Anything new?

I completed the EGR mod. I had a leak from the exhast port. I need to insert a washer gasket to stop the leak.

Nashua.

I'm all over the chip as my next mod if it shows significant gains. Gotta start saving now.

wishful thinking, lets see....

headers, intake, exhaust, 10 PSI from turbo or SC, 3.5L upgrade, performance tranny, new throttle body, pulleys, nitrous, vafc or boost controller....only things left are the chip, tires for all that torque and a new axle. What's that about $15-20K? Did I forget anything?

Rebuilding the engine for low compression, filling in the engine block, cams, ignition amplifier, fuel pump, transmission upgrade. There's alot more.

And spend enough to buy two CL/TLs!

Speaking of which, does anybody make cams for our car?

Not yet, and normally a good high performance NA cam profile isn't always what you want for forced induction.

Just spoke to Alan today and he said he's just finishing up the RSX ECU piggy-back kit. Here are the results he briefly told me (peak gains):

ECU ~10whp
CAI + Titanium exhaust ~10whp
ECU + CAI + Exhaust ~27whp peak, but significant gains through-out entire band

Basically, the more mods you have, the more you can squeeze out some power!

He got a CL to do the wiring and such on already, but in about 3 weeks he needs to do some tuning on a CL. I volunteered, so if he needs me he'll be using my CL and mods to do the tuning.

Is it proven that CAI + Exhaust is only 10whp? I thought it was closer to 15-18

Ronnie, I have to admit, you stepped up to the plate... Eric :thumbsdn: is slippin, thanks for picking up the slack...

1-1/2 points for Ronnie.... Good work Ron.

1 point for volunteering his whip for the CHIP
and
1/2 point for doing the WILWOOD BIG BRAKE set-up

( you will receive the other 1/2 point when you tell us if the stock 17inch rim will fit)........

I'd love to see the gains for a CLS 6sp with CT intake/headers/b-pipe (when available)/exhaust.
