I tried searching, but I couldnt' find anything and I haven't had the time to check the helms yet, but does anyone else think it would make sense to switch the tach w/ the fuel/temp gauges? Every time I look at my gauges, it just seems like it would make more sense to have the tach closer to the center since that's where your eyes are looking most of the time. I may end up tryin to rip apart my dash and do this, but not sure yet. After I look in the helms i'll let you know what i decide. I just wanted to see if anyone else thought about this or tried this.

 

I don't believe it to be a possiblity. You'd have to move ALL the wiring and such.

 

Interesting, but I feel like I look at the speedo more than the tach. I guess I've gotten used to the feel of the car to knwow when to shift. But I notice that since you can't hear the engine noise much I'm sometimes surprised at where the rpms are at.

yeah, but, looking in the helms it doesn't seem like it would be that bad(granted, i just skimmed a few pages). iSince i tend to drive w/ my left hand at 12:00 and my right on my shifter, i can't really see my tach all that well. I do, however, have a perfect view of my fuel/temp gauges. It's really not that big of a deal unless i'm playin around w/ people on the highway or something, just want to be able to max it out, w/out hittin the rev limiter. Granted, it's not like i do that all the time, nor to hit the rev limiter, but i like to keep it that way. I just figured that being able to see the tach better would help.
