I was thinking about adding a subwoofer and an amp but I have a stock head unit. Will it still work? If not what kind of headunit will fit for our cars that is double din?

 

I may be wrong but...

if I remember from my stereo days correctly, you can hook up a crossover to the rear speaker out of the back of the deck, sending the high frequencies to the rear speakers, and the lower tones to a seperate unit, in this case an amp and sub. I havent done this for about 3 years though, so someone please correct me.
