if you want to save that crank at all (even to sell it), i would not leave it out like that, and at least put it into the block, and let it rest there; otherwise it has undue stress put on it, which can eventually make it take a set with it bowed/bent (you want to support it at the main bearings)

I have just left the car alone for a while.
I was getting to super obsesive with any extra money going to just one place. And since the trans was acting up,I just fixxed up my other car and got it back up for the winter just incase the trans went. Then x mas got a little over carried away in a excess of 3k spent.
Then x mas I got a 1/5 scale r/c baja with a 30.5cc engine to play with,so my mind was drifting to another toy.
I actually got a new set of upper camber ball joints today in the mail.
I think in the next day or two I will be droping the car off to get the ball joints, alinement, the trans filter and switches in.To lazy to do it myself in the cold.
Then if the the trans stuff helps then I will continue on, if not.who knows.
I do have the manifold completed with polished plenums the valve covers and the manifold cover painted.
front valve cover is purple.Back is black. Manifold cover is purple and polished.

Stand the crank up when storing.

standing up, moves the deflection/bow, to a plane where you can't feel it with the engine running (but where you might really have issues though is on like a inline 6, or V12 where the crank has some length to it, and being too short to fit in all the mains

I think it would take an awfully long time (like longer then I'll live)to cause a crankshaft to shrink! HAHA Thats funny shit. Sorry man, I just don't agree with you at all. But to each his own!

lol, but yeah all i am saying is to store it in the block especially if you got a block to put it in, so that all the mains are supported

If you have a block to store it in. Do it. Otherwise I would have it standing up.

I haven't moved on any farther yet.
I snaped a pic of my things so I can atleast show the the manifold cover ,and valve covers that I painted.
Got to show something it's been awhile. And I think I will be starting to play with the car again.
I was just out ripping on the car and the trans seams to be holding.
If the trans is set.The mod bug will be coming back.

Are you going to do all the work yourself? I recommend selling your current tranny while it's still good, and get an odyssey tranny before the build is done.

All the mechanical work ,yes.
Tunning I dought it.
I was thinking if the trans holds on I might just try slaping a new convertor. Well see what my money looks like when the time comes for a tranny choice.

Looking for interest in my car,I know there is some somewhere.
A little more power won't hurt.
So spoolin, how much faster was your car after your build ?From stock.
Any timed runs ?
I'm hoping for reverse wheelies

Gain in torque was well worth the build. Never got a chance to ake some 1/4 mile passes. I ran a local 1/8 mile with some Falkin Rt-615's. If I remember correctly I was running 7.9-8.0 spinning second.
