Rolling windows up with keys
Rolling windows up with keys
My friend has a 2003 Accord and he says that he read somewhere that when u have the key in the door and press some sort of combination on the buttons on the remote, that it is supposed to roll up the windows and lock all the doors. Does such a feature exist on the 2003 CL-S? I don't remember seeing it in the manual anywhere.
Thanks
Thanks
our '97 Maxima would roll down the 2 front windows if you press and hold the unlock button on the key fob, but you gotta keep holding the button to keep them rolling down...they wouldn't roll up tho...that was back in '97
i've read a few times it being said the CL does the same, but in over 3 years, i have yet to get it to work

On the Jetta, you put the ignition key in the driver's door, turn & hold. All the windows/sunroof etc closes and the door locks.
Would be cool if all that happened when you lock the car with the remote....

The new TL does all kinda of crazy stuff, alla vw, bmw and others
you can set the key fobs to have your doors lock when you hit 5mph (bimmer) and then unlock when you kill the engine.
You can open/close the windows with the fob or the key in the door.
and teh key fob retains your driver memory settings with your seat and mirrors and climate control settings, so when you unlock your car after a service or valet or something, it goes back to your settings, its SICK!

we rented an A6 wagon in the Netherlands - by holding unlock/lock on the keyfob the windows would rolldown/ rollup respectively...
I hoped that would be a feature on my CL, but it looks that it will take a custom alarm job to achieve that function (anyone done this yet?)
