Pick the rims YOU want, then, have them finished the way YOU want them to be.

I have the black pearl finish on my rims, but I had the entire rim finished. I don't know if gary goodrich is into masking. You'd have to ask him. gary@goodrichtechnology.com
Gary will sand blast off the old finish, even if it is brand new, to prevent intercoat adhesion issues from popping up, then applies his patented, 3 coat powder coat/metal deposition/ powder coat clear on top. He charged me $400 for four wheels, but last I spoke to him, he was talking about the price dropping to $50 per.
The process takes about 1 week from when they arrive in Pittsburg, CA.
I also am a powder coater, and am heavy into corrosion control. My Goodrich rims have had a shitload of salt on them, but I just had the oil changed today, and they washed the car. The rims look like the day I got them back. No problems.
If you go this route, try to pick wheels with a METAL center cap, not plastic (although there is a way around that), so they can be coated to match. DON'T worry about the lug nuts at all.
You should PM Smitty. He has picks of my wheels on my anthricite 03 CLS6 Navi. It's a real good look.
Nicky Pass went this route also, and he's happy.
With 15 years of powder coating experience, I can tell that this is a good coating. Plastic (which powder coatings are) doesn't rust or flake like chrome does.
Look further on this page. I just powder coated Brian6speed wheels for him, just two days ago.
PM me if you want more info.
