Does anyone have ideas about how 5,500 feet of altitiude would effect the SC? Would the gains be proportional to those at sea level, or would you get less "bang for your buck"? Seems like the thiner air would negate some of the gains made by SC'ing

Too bad you couldnt check it out this weekend. Hope you have a chance though, I'm anxious to hear about cause i'll be in colorado springs in a months time!!!! and i'll definitely go there to ask them about getting me a supercharged cl under full warranty. should be awesome!!!!!
As for the altitude, it definitely makes a difference. You would definitely expect less gains with the supercharger (only anything) at a higher altitude than at sea level. Even though the oxygen content of the air is the same (21%) the partial pressure exerted by air is much less. I got some wacky formulas if you need to figure it out but i'm guessing that at 7000 ft which is what colorado springs is at you could expect maybe ~ 10-20 hp less than what you could get at sea level. that is just my apprixmation. anyone who got exact numbers please feel free to correct me.
let me know about the car. thanks haus
