i was on my way home from my fiance house when i decided to go for a little drive before i went home. as i went on old country road a black 03 tls pulled up to the light with two other kids in the car. so we start talking and he asks how i like the new tl and i said i love it then he says wanna run, i was waiting for it. so we raced just once from light to light and i beat him by a car and a tad more. I was shocked because he had comptech exhaust un less he didn't get a good start, oh well a win is a win..

I wouldn't have expected the CT exhaust to make a difference on their car. The new TL would school an old one stock for stock. No question.

Yeah, stock auto vs stock auto should be a good match although I would expect the new TL to win more often then not. not a big difference between the two cars though.

A stock manny 04 vs a modded (headers/exhaust/intake or icebox) TLS would be a good match as well.

Vin, if there's an acura wars II in april should go. I'll try and be there if possible. There should be stock and modded CLS/TLSs.

 

i hope to get some mods soon, and get it aleast to 285-290 hp....

dude...every time he floors it when I'm in the car I get more and more impressed. The shit moves and it moves hard. And for those that have really had the chance to drive a new TL you should know what I mean. I'm actually kinda scared cause the shit does seem to feel faster than my car!!!I ain't joking...when we go to the track were gonna alternate drivers and I'll see what I can get out of it.

 

Ya never know cause I got a 2.137 60ft time w/ my car on street tires so I might be able to pull a low 14 out of it

looks like a possibilty to bad i missed going to the track this year. who knows it could warm up...i dont think it feels as quick as anthonys cls. it is getting quicker with more miles i put on it.

 

vin, in the car talk section some guy on vtec.net. ran a 14.21 with his bone stock 6spd tl.. dammm who knows maybe they underrated the 04 tls.. i mean if he ran a 14.2 than who knows maybe your car is capable of a 14.4 or 14.3 bone ass stock....
