don't put em softer, you could have the rim get bent more easily....

I don’t know if they fit yours, but I’m getting GORILLA locks for my 18’s.

It’s called “The System” and every LUG is a LOCK.
(20) locks in all of course.

65-bucks with my wheels.

Their site is under construction, but you can download the full catalog in PDF format.

shawn I heard if you lock every lug its not good cause you can't make the lock lugs as tight as regular ones. may be yours is different.

shawn, which model did you buy? they make like 30 different styles of tuner nuts/locks.

yours will fit any tuner wheel right?

i've heard that too... but may be a wives tale.

only locks ive ever used are the Acura OEM's... and I can torque them the same way I torque the plain lug nuts.

I’m getting everything from “ValueTL” over on the TL site.
I don’t know the exact model because I don’t have them yet.
He’s shipping them with the wheels.
Should be today or tomorrow.

Drop him an E-Mail because he sells lots of different RIMS and should know what fits.

If you look at page 24 & 27 of the PDF file at their Website, you’ll see that the “locking surface” is along the entire OUTSIDE of the LUG.
Unlike the Acura ones where it is just on the end of the NUT.

I think these would have to be able to take the full torque to be used on ALL five positions.

If you look at the photo of the “Acorn” nut on page 25, it doesn’t look any bigger then the OEM nuts we have, so it’s probably very similar in weight.

Plus you have better BALANCE because all five are the exact same weight.

Soopa,

I have NITTO 555 and I was running them at 19lbs. The ride was nearly stock. But I would swerve at every pot hole I saw, even if it was hella small. The racks at the local Acura Dealer suck, they have to actually drive over this big ass piece of metal, anyway the tire pinched so much that a hole rippped in the side wall. Needless to say, they replaced my tire. They also scratched one of my HRE wheels, they are supposed to order me a new one. Back to tire pressure, I now run 32lbs, but the ride is a lot ruffer, but the grip is almost the same. It is just a preffernce thing, I wouldnt max them out though, you may get some uneven wear. If you notice more wear toward the middle your pressure is too high.

As far as air pressure, it really depends on the car, not the tires as much.

I am running 18s and I fill to about 35 psi, which is only 3 above the OEM spec.

As for locks, I am running McGard cone seat open-end wheel lock, because I have a center cap that screws on my wheel.

Here is a pic.

Are you serious? Damn that is dangerously low. Why would you run with a tire pressure that low? The stock tires are 32psi.

I know that is low, the thing is when i first got the wheels and tires from acura i asked the parts manager if he checked the air pressure and the tech said yes. So I drive it around and it feels hella nice, like it was still stock. So I kept it at 19lbs for 6-7 months. The funny thing is I never had a problem until they drove it up on the racks. I keep it at 32 now just to be safe.

I also ran mine close to 40-42. Don't worry they won't blow.
