MOMO Sports

Just wanted to bitch. After having a mexican pothole eat one of my rims this past weekend, I am once again immensely frustrated by these rims. My only complaint is that I guess they were discontinued around 2 years ago. You'd never know it by looking at Parts websites (Every site that has momo's, offers the sports right along with the new models). But damm if you try and find a 17X8 with a 50 offset, let alone chrome. I've had to replace one before (took 2 months to get it). Now it looked as though my best option was to have a silver plated out in cali (3 weeks). Does any know a good dealer that carries an inventory of these? BTW, looks like I find one in NC (of all places) and had to convince my distributor to buy to from dealer to dealer. Should be here by the end of the week, but I'll believe it when I see it. Thinking about just buying four new rims all together.

Got any pics of your ride? I've always wanted to see the sports on the CL-S.

yeah, I have pics (in picture format though ). I've been trying to find a scanner that works to get them up here for quite some time. I have one, just need new XP drivers for it (go figure). But I'll keep trying.

Me too. I almost bought a set the same month I got my CL-S.

Btw, you shouldn't be getting 17" rims, that's your problem right there. Gotta get at least 18s. 17s are too small.

I would agree! But alas I have 17s, if I ever buy a new set it will be bigger. I switched out my comptechs for the H&Rs to help offset the still apparent wheel gap. Okay I'm taking the photos to work and will stop by kinos afterwards! It is so nice to have a level ride, Man that donut was really starting to get me worried.
