That's hot! What did you use behind the 'A'? I've been busting my head trying to find a material I like.

finally found some paint that worked really well....hopefully will be posting pics later this week when i get a digital camera. I made it "mugen style" (just completely shaved interior bars, and black mesh) had to do quite a bit of cutting on the grill...pics to come.

shouldnt sag in general because of the clips holding it into the metal support behind the grill on the hood even if there wasnt the middle bar.

those "clips" don't include the middle, only sides if i recall or else my extra grill wouldn't sag.

I think that grill looks bad. Not pretty at all.

Props for trying though.

Reading this post today I went out and messed with my grill....Before I had just took off the A and use a thick piece of mesh type material and set it under the chrome trim....I took it apart and went ahead and dremeled out the inside of the grill and left the A center and I like it...but id have alot of touching up to do on the inside of the grill where i cut everything out...heres a few pics of before in between and when i went with my old setup again without the center of the grill in....

i don't like the "A" behind the mesh, it kinda makes the logo look like it's in prison

Not bad. It would be nice if you got your front bumper repainted and some shots out in the sun.
