Possible New Mod??
Indeed it is.
Ive come to the decision that I will be installing the manifold this monday or tuesday WITHOUT the ported throttle body. Detailed pics and dynos will be posted.

Be prepared that it will not work off the bat without a CEL. There are a few things you need to think about:
-IAT is not located on the manifold for the 09 TL, you will need to relocate yours
-PCV tube is now on the front left of the 09 TL manifold
-check hose sizes and lengths, you might need extra heater hose and/or vacuum hose, you may need to adapters and such
My suggestion, rest the manifold on top of your motor and check things out.

My first reaction to the IAT was put it on the intake, I wanted to verify with Sean before I said anything, he confirms ok to put it on the intake and that it will make more power there anyway
I want to pick up an oil catch can as well. Thanks for reminding me

I plan to do a full right up when I do the install.
I don't have my manifold yet but I did the IAT today here is the IAT solution:
Moved to the vacuum inlet on the intake previously blocked by a bolt. It is smaller so a hose clamp was necessary.

The wire for the IAT route with the harness inside a plastic conduit that goes over the rear valve cover. I removed one bolt, undid three clips and had access. The wires I needed routed towards the intake so I carefully cut the electrical tape and got it to where I needed it.

I taped it for now because I could not find my plastic wire conduit and it was getting freaking hot in the garage, even though it is a chilly 95 today.
I filled the hole left by the IAT being removed with a bolt which won't be necessary once I have the 09 manifold.

Sorry for no updates on my part. I drove to NY this weekend and didnt sleep much.
Anyway, my manifold still isnt in
Hopefully I can get some info as to why it isnt in yet. I have no work until Friday, so I have plenty of time to the install and get it dynod. I am probably going to get it dynod tomorrow before I do the work.
Nice job on the IAT, btw.

Where is your intake darnit!
Dyno will come but not soon, I have a bunch of work coming up. How was the Yankee game? How is the new stadium? I am jealous of that, I grew up in the city.

I have no clue where the intake is. The guy that has access to the Acura catalog (Rob) was at lunch when I called. He never called me back. Ill give him a call tomorrow morning to find out.
The stadium was.....different. Its not the real Yankee stadium that I know and love. But it definately is amazing. My sister got seats from her job, and we had no idea where they were until we got there. They were in the Delta 360 box, and they were absolutely amazing. We had our own bar, and they made fresh pizza, cheese steak sandwiches, and a whole bunch of stuff right there. They had waiters that got you this stuff too, which I didnt really like (I got my own food). I didnt like sitting with all these corporate types that go to a Yankee game just to go, not because they actually like - or understand - baseball. Overall I like the new stadium, but the real stadium is what I will always remember.
One thing that I really didnt like was when Swisher hit a homerun, the scoreboard lit up and it was the Geico gecko dancing. They went alittle overboard with the sponsorships.

That stinks.
One thing I just realized the egr tube is not included. It is needed or the egr needs to be blocked/worked around.
I grew up in Manhattan, my Mom grew up walking distance from the stadium we are lifelong Yankee fans.
I watched the game Sunday on ESPN. I was glad Andy got the win.
We moved out of the city to Santa Monica in 76 I had gone to the last game before the renovation and wanted to go to the first after but could not get my Dad to take us back for a game.

That sucks (both the EGR tube and not going to the game after the renovation).
I grew up in West Hempstead, but originally from Westbury. Ive been a Yankee fan since I first learned about baseball. Its odd that my mom is an As fan, the rest of her family and my other sister are Mets fans, and my dad doesnt really follow baseball. So its just my brother, my sister, and I who are Yankee fans. I went to the second to last game at Yankee stadium last year. My sister actually cried as we walked out. Seeing a 30 year old cry at Yankee stadium makes for a very awkward moment. Its really sad that they are demolishing it this month I believe.

Stop with the pictures! Your making me more jealous.
Just remember that due to the shorter runners, the manifold will be *slightly* lower. I dont have any measurements, but I know alot of the Civic guys use it to get the hood clearance they need.

Its also lighter compared to the stock manifold. When are you planning on putting it on? I am getting to the point where I may go to the Acura dealer and steal one from a TL on the lot
One more thing, does the IAB valve hit the power steering pump?
