i ordered through my friends shop. he was able to get me a deal and he didnt charge me tax(dont tell the irs)...i got the headers for 1000 and the icebox was 200. i am pretty sure he is ordering straight from comptech but sense he has a vendors license and has paid the buy-in...he gets better pricing.

Congrats. Good toys. Especially the headers....favorite mod. You went all out when someone said "let the modding begin."

Enjoy.

no, not really...i have just built a lot of cars and i know that when you nickle and dime your way to what you want, you spend a lot more money on trying to get there. i decided to buy everything i wanted at one time. that way i do it right and i do it once. as you get older, you get smarter.

Umm, how did you get a CF trunk from VIS. The only ones I know of are XkraziX, Esserak, and some guy in MD that I saw had one. I didn't think they made them for our car.

XkraziX reffered me to someone at ViS and he was able to help me out....its not on the wesite but it is available. it was either the same price as the hood or a little more expensive. i cant remember. all i can say is contact ViS.

Be VERY CAREFUL with the trunk. The springs on the OEM trunk will pop that damn thing off the hinges. You need to hold the trunk down while you are popping it or it will fly up and potentially break. Especially if your car as the OEM spoiler (stronger springs)

Cool. Good to know.

Well it sounds like your gonna be busy installing stuff once everything gets in.
Good luck with it.

I don't know what you can do honestly. The trunk is designed to "pop" open with some force. When you reduce the weight by like 1,000% you are gonna have trouble keeping it practical.

What you takin bout willis?? My trunk barely opens when I press the button. I'm sure if he switched to the smaller springs, and just kept an I on it when he opens it, it will be fine.

Trust me, I saw the one in MD on the Red CL that posted the burnout video. The fucking thing flies open. Stock trunk lid weighs 20-30lbs. CF trunk weighs about 5lbs.

you can not purchase different springs... you use the adjustment tool to move the setting of the spring if the car gets a OEM spolier installed.
Find Chikai he purchased the tool when we did installed our spoilers... without adjusting the spring the trunk would not stay open.

damn man...I want Comptech headers for a G.

I ordered this month:
Eibach Pro Kit
Tokico Shocks
Eibach Sway bar kit
Comptech Tranny cooler
Sent off my Eibach FSB for chroming

congrats on the purchase bro. I wish I had a big refund coming, but I decided to keep it myself thru the year, so owed at the end, but the house offset it.
