Fairwell to the CL!

I just bought an 03 Lincoln Navigator and I'm dropping the CLS. I'm a little sad that I have to sell the thing since it's one of the most beautiful cars on the road. What should I list it for sale at? I was thinking $18.5 with the wheels/tires and lip spoiler

Thoughts...?

Thanks

Wow what a drastic change.
From a well built, nice looking, reliable sports coupe-
To an overblown, gas guzzling unreliable SUV.
Sorry but I hate SUVs. can't understand why people buy them.

The Navigator is getting about 15 mpg whereas the CLS was getting 21. I think this is acceptable.

I need an SUV to pull my utility trailer and hopefully a boat soon. SUV's have there uses and believe me I would keep the CL in a heartbeat if I had the bread to just keep it around

Depending on the mileage, $18.5k may be a bit much. Don't know your market but here in SF there's a CL Type S for $15.9k with 30k miles. Sold mine for $13.5k with 89K miles and navi and new tires. Good luck.

Well sorry to hear about you leaving the CL fam. But since im in the market for mods, I was wondering if you had your springs up for sale. Specifically if you have all four Comptech (silver) springs? Or if you are just gonna sell the Comtech/H&R Combo. PM ME! Or see my thread in the Black Market Under WTB: 01 Acura CL-S Aftermarket Parts.

By the way, by taking the springs off, and aftermarket products off, you may sell the CL quicker. Not a lot of peeps other than people on this board like buying a car with aftermarket stuff on it.

Good Luck

55K on the odometer.

I think I have a better chance of getting it sold with the mods. It looks so much better with them. High book in my area for a CLS in condition like mine is $17.5K. I figure $1K worth the tires, wheels, springs, etc. I'm listing it at $18.5K in hopes of getting $17.5K.

Congrats on the purchase. Sad to see another CL, sent out into the wild.

Good luck with the new ventures
