New Guy

Just thought I would say whats up. Ive had my Cl for a few months now but im just now getting around to doing mods. I have been converted from big jeeps that sit sky high to a low sitting Cl-S and i love it. Only queshtion is how much of a pain in the ass is it to change out the plugs in these babies. First time messing with anything front wheel drive.

Thanks for the help!

Welcome! Plugs are easy. The back side is the hard part cause you have to squeez your hand back there.

Good luck with it!

EDIT: BTW, you don't need to change the plugs till 100k or so though. Depends on driving habits I guess.

Just hit 100k. I personally like NGK plugs. Great luck with them in my crotch rocket. Any suggestions with other plugs???

The only other plug I'd put in the CLS is the Denso's. Those are the best options.

Japanese motor = Japanese plug.
German motor = german plug
American motor = american plug

Aren't the stock plugs NGK if I remember correctly?

it's not too bad once you know the easiest way...laying on the engine you run your right arm from around were the IAT is down and over...dont try to squeeze between the valve cover and the strut tower bar...welcome to the money pit

Welcome!

As for the plugs, just unbolt the IAT bracket and use a swivel/extension combo.

I have Denso IK20's
