Looks good to me and if it sounds good then thats even better Thats what im thinking about getting. Well just one ten (kappa) and a suitable amp. Did you make that box or did you buy it?

How much was for the custom work??? I mean, there's really no custom fit there. Seems like the box just fits the sub. Is it strapped down or have problems with it bouncing around while you drive?

I have a solo-baric 12 w/ 400w orion amp in my car as well. I like it cause the sound mostly stays in the car.

Total cost was 300 for install. Which include wiring and install for the amp and he made the box.

I also got some square velcro stickers from CVS and put them on each corner. doesn't move after that.

I've heard Joe's set-up and it sounds great. The bass doesn't drown out the factory mids and highs. Also, since his box is sealed, the sound is very controlled and tight. I'm probably going to do the same set-up with the newer JL 10W3 matched to a MTX Road Thunder 280 (260 - 280 watts RMS)

Icy , I got mine done near lomenz plaza , intersection of 50 and 7. Technique first got his amp and sub put in there and reccommended me.
called custom car audio or something, If u want to get it done, call me up, I eventually want to put some focal comp. in there. On some Rap and R&B music the stock can't keep up the mid's and highs w/ my sub.
