Might be getting a little worried
OK, Since I am a poor college kid who wants rims, I have to do it in steps. So I went ahead and ordered tires, and in about 3 weeks i can order the rims to go with them. I ordered 235/40/18 because I like the wider tire look. Now the rims that I have my mind set on are 18x7 with 42 offset. I have heard many people say that 235 is too wide for a 7" tire, but some people say they put 235 on the stock CLS rims (which is 7") with no problem?
My question is, should I be looking for another rim to fit the tires that I have? Or will I be ok with the 18x7 setup?
