Lighting question

Okay, I got my PIAA lights in today to replace the reverse lights and the licence plate light. Anything special I should know. I think scooter has done all of these before. I'm not very mechanically inclined, so any tips before I try to do this on my own would be greatly appreciated

don't touch the glass w/ your fingers cuz the oil on your skin can make the bulb heat up and eventually burn it out. just one of the things i can think of now

ok, let's attack the reverse first:
1. the black knobs on the inner wall of the trunk right behind the light housings are really screws to hold the lining secure...so unscrew them and pull the lining away
2. the reverse lights should b the easiest bulb to get access to, so b careful when removing the light

as far as license plate light go, all u need is a phillips head screwdriver, and yer set

Thanks for the info scooter, I will have new lights as soon as I get home today.

nate'sCLS: I know it's not that hard, but this wonderful resource is out there, acura-cl.com, so i figured i would take advantage of it and make sure there was nothing weird I needed to be aware of. My bad.

remember to either wear surgical gloves or use a towel to install the PIAA's...and the reverse lights are pop out/pop in, so it's a piece of cake

Just wondering what you guys think of the PIAA lights...I went with the full package short of the high beams and mirror lights...the bluish lighting complements the aegean blue exterior nicely IMO.

I bought my road lamps from the site that sponsors us, I think its autocarparts.com and they were like $15 but I bought my reverse lights and license plate lights from a different site and they were $10, but I can't remember the name right now.
