My key remote battery works but when i push the button nothing happens. Do i need to program it to work on my car or something? it is the #1 for the seat itwas like that when i bought the cars so i am using #2.
any help

 

Try reprogramming both the remotes. If you do just one, the other won't work- they must be programmed at the same time.

 

how do youdo that.
if you hold the unlock and lock i just turns the memory seat feature on and off for the remote

jeez...you think honda would think of a better way to reprogram a remote. Those are some seriously lousy steps. I got confused reading them.

Does anyone know if the tL-s remote will work with 1st gen cL? I have the circuit board from the tl and was wondering if i could program it to work with my 1stgencL. thanks!!!
