just removed intake resonator...question

so me and my buddy (also has a cl) just removed out intake resonators. we were wondering if you need to cap up the now open hole under the air box or if it was even a big deal at all just to leave it open since the air is still getting to the filter

If you cap that hole, how will the engine get any air?

Yes it is fine as Civic said, The hole is now the intake part which is drawing air from down by the bumper directly. You can add a sort of scoop if you want which produces a ram air like effect by forcing air from the foglight covers (which you drill out) up into the air box. I did this when I did my custom Fogs, although there isn't a noticeable gain obviously, it was a fun project

did you do a K&N drop in also ?

anyways i always wanted to run a pipe down towards the front of the bumper with a venturi horn at its end to more or less simulate the comp ICE BOX
