the hell is that? you gonna drive around like that? your the little kid with the m3 right?

you cant just pull a rig job like that. the seatbelt has shit built into it to put a certain amount of tension on the belt in case of a collision.

mattg: As I am going to be doing a bunch of racing with this car, this was a very necessary upgrade. Next is the roll bar

1genCL : thanks man!

chrisbpickering : No, there is a special bracket that connects them to the rear in addition to the rear belts. Easy snap in and out and still just as safe as any other 4-point harness

danny25 : Thanks man! I love it too!

chikai : agreed! That is why I am getting the roll bar as well. Not many people would catch that

mr tl : oh dear, where do I start? Hmmm ... first, yes I am the little kid with the m3. May I ask what is wrong with that? Anyways, a RIG JOB? This was built BY SCHROTH to do that. Not RIGGED at all. If you dont know, SCHROTH is one of the top suppliers of harnesses for all sorts of racing. ESPECIALLY FORMULA 1. But thanks for trying.... see yourself out.

nokio : I do a bunch of racing with the car but still use it on the street as well so I needed the best of both worlds.

Crazy : yeah, I take them out when I am cruising for chicks... pretty much only in there when I want to have some fun or when I am racing.

Haha thanks man ... I still love your car too! The only thing that kind of sucked about thisi car is that I wanted to do euro delivery but when I went there to order the car, this one was on the floor. It was pretty much exactly what I would have ordered minus the sunroof so I had to take it. The interior is priceless. I somtimes get around to albany so I might have to stop by and you show me that sex machine of yours

AdamR

PS - there is no doubt that I would still have the Acura if the suspension wasnt all messed up when I got it back

if your racing, that's cool.

maybe you should get the sparco's to go w/ the harnesses

i would hate to see you end up w/ black marks on those red seats.

schroth does not supply F1. Their belts are mostly Sabelts. What is that setup gonna do to the top of your seat beneath the headrest?? There certainly will be some wear and tear there don't ya think? Fuck it, put in some red Sparcos/Momos or Recaros capable of handling a 5 point harness.

Schroth 4-point harnesses are the only ones available that are DOT-legal, in other words, not ticketable on the street.

FYI:
Well-known teams and races, like Renault, Jaguar, Jordan, Orange Arrows, as well as two other teams in the Formula 1, Formula König, Formula Volkswagen, the Top 10's Bilstein Tourenwagen Cup, VW Lupo Cup, and the Porsche GT Rennfahrzeuge, have trusted their professional seat belts; others, like the Top 10's Renault Clio Cup and the VW Lupo Cup, used SCHROTH's window nets.

on the one hand you are prepping the car for racing, but on the other hand you are looking to install a quasi-major audio upgrade ... seems to be an odd combination for one vehicle, but thats just MHO.

Not really. Yes with the the audio upgrade but it is all removable stuff except for the speakers & head so everything is being made to take out in under 15 minutes.
