just looking for some opinions on an idea i have for the chrome trim around the windows, its a pretty small detail but i seen a mercedes CL and at one angle it looked like the top chrome trim was blacked out, it actually wasnt but it gave me an idea. Tell me what you think

black out top of trim, leave bottom straight line, black out door handles

 

I think it looks good on black...maybe even blue. I definately wouldn't do it on my satin silver metallic though.

We need mercedes style side view mirros for our cars. I love how they look on maximas and they would look great on our cars IMO

 

think of sideskirts and rear lip... car looks unbalanced.

 

it definately seperates the car into two halves. IMO looks pretty good, I wouldn't do it on my SMR tho

Looks good, i'm planning on doing my trim too. Mine's silver but the windows are tinted really dark so I think it'll look ok. Like the idea of only doing the top half though, might try it.

 

I say leave the trim how it is.
