just got me a six speed!!!!

so i finally broke down and decided not to spend any more money on my 99 2.3CL and bought me a 2003 cl-s 6 six speed. black on black and was able to get it out for 13.5k from a dealer in NH. its so much faster than my old CL its not even funny. i love it and wanted to let you guys know i got it. apparently the 6 speed is a rare option and was very glad to have that. only thing i didnt like was the sound system and wanted to swap that ASAP. thanks for your time guys

How many miles are on that thing?!?!

13.5k is stealing, literally. Unless it has really high mileage.

Good luck with it, they are great cars

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the 6spd club !!

13.5K

That's probably the lowest reported price on a 6spd yet...

The 92,049 miles (I saw it on autotrader) kinda explains the price...

http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=190694821

Like the old Legends, if you take care of these things, they should last forever...

Yeah, even with the mileage, it's still one hell of a deal... You'll have the 105K mile service coming up (timing belt, water pump, etc), but that's still a great deal.

When I seach autotrader for 2003 6spds within 300 miles from my zipcode (swansea ma) I get 25 hits:

$25,995 Highest price
$13,995 Lowest price
$21,853 Average price

Your car is the lowest priced one on there The next one is for 16.9K with 92K miles which is in the range we usually see for a high mileage 6spd (I think I've only seen one other for under 15K).

Your car is 11265, so someone put alot of miles on that car pretty quickly (like 30K a year). My car is 8866 (made in Aug. 2002), so yours was made later....

Your car was made in a batch of 28 Black/ebony non-navi 6spds. There were a total of 480 Black/ebony non-navi 6spds produced...

Nice car. I'm jealous. The high mileage doesn't bother you? If not, than that's awesome. Enjoy the hell out of it, I know you will.

Nice ride dude, looks like my cl-s when I first bought it.

Did it come with service records? Mileage means nothing if it was serviced regulary. ENJOY

I've been doing "reseach" on the some legends, and if the CLS is anything like the type I and type II motors, there shouldn't be any worries about the 92K miles.

I don't know if I'm going to have my CLS at that type of mileage (it'll take me another 4 years to get to 90K), but I've seen alot of legends with 160-220K miles out there...

$13K for a car with over 92K miles on it? No matter what car that doesn't make much sense. At least it's a CLS 6 speed. Hope it treats you right.

93K miles is a wet sneeze....I would be interested in hearing about the records from previous owners, though.

Did it come certified?

LOW, but not the LOWEST…..

Apparently, MY CAR was on Autotrader for 7,000 bucks last week.

Someone stole my listing text, VIN and photos from EBAY and claimed to have owned the car.
It was the old (my car is out of the country, send me a deposit) scam.
They said the car was in England
Someone who knew my car told me about it.
The AD has since been pulled.

i know it doesnt seem right but when you look at how rare this car is and how great it drove you woulndt think twice about it. any of you would drive this car and would swear it has 30k. i;m not concerned that much on mileage because i;m keeping thi car for a WHILE!!, to me honestly it was a steal. some of us just cannot give up the stick or the CL so i had to have it and that was the only one i saw in my price range. I've owned hondas and acuras and have seem them last me over 250k resale value is not important at all. than again you gotta be a fanatic like me. thanks to you guys and i hope everything turns out ok

BTW this car has balls!!!!!

I ran the VIN and whoever owned the car last drove the hell out of it. Look at these mileage indicators:

Date: Mileage:
01/15/2004 35,496
08/26/2004 42,319

50k in one year.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's all highway miles... Lots of people commute into the Boston area, so we see alot of high mileage cars around here. Since the car was bought in NH, I'd guess that someone was in the boonies of NH and commuting into MA everyday.

I used to drive up to Braintree everyday for about 2 years. 65 miles one way (130 a day, 650 a week). This guy must have had a 100 mile one way commute (200 miles round trip)

The assumptions about rate of mileage seem off. When was this car first sold? the 03 6MT came out in early spring? 2002, like March I think. this car could be between 2.5 to 3 years old.

It was made after mine... see my prior post, so it's about 2.5 years old.

Mine just turned 3 years old (40K miles). My wild ass guess is that this car was made in the last months of 2002 or the beginning of 2003

Mine has only 25k miles but I need to get the vin and call Acura to see when the time runs out, which will happen before I hit 50k miles. Starting to think about getting an extended warranty, since there's nothing out there I'd want to replace it with.

Come on Acura, you've produced the new RL, the new TL, now where's the coupe!!

Congrats on the CLS 6MT. I still have mine after more than 2 1/2 years and still love it. But be warned, it's really hunger for the mods and takes to them much better.

I'm not holding my breath on a coupe from acura anymore. Maybe they'll suprise us, but I'm checking the gtr site ( http://www.gtrproto.com/ ) to see what the new g35c is gonna look like

Thanks Sun Diego - I've been poking my head in over the last year and a half, but only joined up recentlyafter a recent problematic upgrade with a a sub/amp to the factory bose system. I'm telling you....it was all working fine, then a few wires popped out, and hooking them back up caused the radion to "not work" I really thought I blew my new amp (I sparked the pos/neg of the amp with a metal screwdriver.) So I'm eating dinner with the fam, totally uprooted from my troubleshooting, and thinking, "I just want to get back to my ride and see if I can fix the issues." I was going mad. Upon return at 8:30pm, pitch black, realized that it was the burnt fuse coming from the battery terminal. $3 for a two pack at Radio Shack, and I was back up and running.

I knew there was a reason why they recommend disconnecting the battery terminal. But then, to lose all your radio presets, not to mention both my #1 (normal driving) and #2 (cruising) presets for the 8-way seat? You know how long that stuff takes to get just right?

A little off topic, but hey - just thought I'd share
