well, no snow in the forecast for the next 15days... by then... spring is officially here... so figured I'd risk it


first impression after a winter on stocks........ BLINGGGG BLINNGGGG!!!

haha... totally change the look of the car. being wide and flush with the fender and all... they make the car look way agressive.


anyway, driving impression... gawdamn my Coil-Overs have settled alot since I put them on!!! Crazy rubbing now... but I'm also tucking about 1/2 inch in front.

Rubs when turning at speed or when turning and hitting bump.


With the coil-overs which have weakend (along with the shocks goin to hell) the ride quality on 19"s is definately being translated to the driving compartment.

Certainly not a soft ride anymore... good thing it looks so hot!


I didn't weigh them... but when lifting Stock+Tire vs. 19"+Tire... the 19's feel a good couple lbs lighter... but I do think they slow down my rolling start a good bit.


Havent had chance to warm the tires up yet... cant wait to get that sticky feeling tho.


Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement. (as well as my anxiety about riding on a 35 series tire on these winter beaten roads. Pot hole city )


Can't wait till spring hits and the road crews get to doin their thang.

Ya if it's like Chicago they spend all summer slowing down traffic to have it fixed barely in time for late FALL. And then leave it to get all fuxed up again in the winter!

 

soopa you know as well as I do that albany streets have always and will always suck. i remember that was big problem near where i lived

that doesnt mean shit.... last sunday it was 56 and sunny here in chicago... and now, its about 9" of snow, and 15 degrees!!!

But I say put them on anyways!!!

 

Ahhh, the joys of living in Chicago. You can put on shorts in the morning and have to wear your winter jacket by 3 in the afternoon. Doesn't get any better then that. We can have all four seasons in a matter of hours.

 

Same thing in New York...

It was 20-something yesterday afternoon... by the time the sun went down the temp spiked to like 50 degrees.


Today... its damn near 65 and I'm damn happy I put the chromies on!
