HP gains to expect from UR UD (Set)

hey guys, just ordered UR UD pulley set from Excelerate (very professional and personal people to do business with)

My question is have and of you guys dyno'd before/after, or have any idea what i can expect? I saw a dyno just now of someone actually loosing a couple Hp up top, so now im kinda worried and its mostly the reason im posting this.

UR claims 13hp but not expecting that much at all im assuming more like 4-8hp?

just anxious!

Thanks alot fellas = D

You can go to thier web site and see dyno sheets for tons of cars. I know the CLS is on there. If remember right I think Ours was 13HP. Not sure about TQ.

I'll be putting mine on tomarrow.

That underdrive crank pulley really does some wonders. If you watch closely your RPMS will jump a lot faster when you mash the gas.

5-10 real world.
The difference is really in the weight. The stock pulley is a brick. Less rotational mass = more power from a motor. Your rpm's will be quicker & that in turn with other mods say headers will increase overall power.

Well there is a 3 pc pulley set and a lightweight crank pulley. The crank pulley is about $200 and the 3 pc set a little over $300. Most of the power gain is in the crank pulley and the stock pulley is about 8 lbs and the Unorthodox Racing crank pulley is just under 1 lb IIRC.

Option Racing is the ebay brand and it is only a crank pulley. Unorthodox Racing offers the pulley set and we sell them. Do some research though and see what fits you best though. There are few members running the ebay pulley and hundreds running the UR pulley. IMO, you get what you pay for.

You have to change the belts when you do a UD pulley. It's smaller.
