The Ultra S crank pulley is a lightweight underdrive crank pulley. It underdrives the accessories 10-20% and requires new belts. The Ultra Sc crank pulley is a lightweight stock size crank pulley, which means that it does not underdrive the accessories and does not require a new belt. If you have a large stereo system (over 600 watts RMS) you will want the Ultra Sc crank pulley. If not, you will want the Ultra S pulley. Average gains are about 7-8 HP. The Ultra Sc will make maybe 1 less hp than the Ultra S pulley.

Applications are taken straight from UR’s website. Crank pulleys only include the crank pulley and 3-Piece sets include the Crank, Alternator, and Power Steering pulleys. The Ultra Sc Crank Pulley is for cars w/ superchargers or stereo systems over 600 watts RMS. The prices will run as follows:

The crack pulley is the only one that gives you hp? What do the other 2 do?

Most of the hp can be found by only using the Ultra S crank pulley. The other two do underdrive the system but they are there more for show than go.

These are #'s from the RSX-S but the TSX #'s are virtually the same (this I have confirmed with UR and a tuner who installed the Ultra SS pulley set on a TSX):

***Disclaimer: As you may have noticed, this is an RSX dyno: the different torque values, redline as well as STD readings vs usual SAE makes it that you can consider this dyno as ONLY an approximation of what the K24A2 engine will yield.

Yes for the CL/TL Type S the HP gain was 13 and the torque gain was about 9 ft/lbs.

Well, most of the power gain lies in the crank pulley but the two other lightweight pulleys do help reduce some parasitic drag.

will it affect the warranty of the engine?

I cannot tell you whether it will affect the warranty or not. You are replacing the crank pulley with a lighter version that will underdrive the system. It is basically a smaller diameter pulley. In all of the pulleys I sent out I haven't heard of anyone saying they void the warranty though. But again, I can't say for sure.

The Ultra S Crank pulley is only the crank pulley. The Ultra SS 3-Piece set is the alternatore, power steering, and crank pulley.

The AEM pulleys are just the accessory pulleys, P/S and Alternator, and to be honest they just look nice. All the gains are in the crank pulley. You can get the pulley set and get lighter accessory pulleys and help reduce some parasitic drag from the accessories but most of the hp gains are in the crank pulley.
