My Dad has an 03 RL. Is there a way to turn off the Maint Light that comes on when ever it is time to change the oil. I am doing his oil changes and want to turn the light off.

It tells you how in the owners manual

 

Have the car turned off. Hold down both of the buttons (reset and the other one, don't remember what it is called) turned the car to the ON posistion but don't start it. Hold it for a few seconds and then start up. Light should be off.

the maintance light is flashing because you need to change the tachometer fluid.
