Has anyone installed a hood lock for the CL-S? I've never seen one of those devices. What do they look like, where do they install them, do they look unsightly, are they an effective supplement for theft deterrent (by preventing someone from popping the hood and disconnecting the battery)?

 

I want one too but don't know where either

I had one on my mustang 5.0 back in 92 and had alot of problems with it. They may have improved them by now

Not on my CL-S, but I had one on my 91 Legend Coupe.
It was an option on the Harrison “Hellfire” aftermarket alarm system I had installed.

It was basically a cable mechanism that “pulled” on the hood latch in the opposite direction from the hand release.
If you broke a window and tried to pop the hood, you would break off the handle before the hood would open.
