Problems Thus Far

Well, I've owned my silver Type S for a little over a week now. All's going well except for the following:

+ Inside trunk release doesn't work (should this function even if you don't have the keys in the ignition?)

+ Driver's-seat lumbar adjustment doesn't seem to do anything (I should feel a difference when I move it, right?)

+ The interior plastic molding/housing that
runs along the A-pillar (next to the windshield) on the passenger side has popped loose

+ Noticed one blemish in the paint job when I washed it last weekend.

The good news is that I've heard next-to-no rattles at all.

Trunk Release: I dunno

Lumbar: You should definately feel it if your back is against the seat when you adjust it.

Molding: Just push that piece... it just pops on and off (great for self-install of V1 )

Paint: What kinda blemish? That sucks

You may have the main switch for the trunk release in the glove compartment off.

Thanks for the tip on the main trunk-release switch. I'll check that out.

I tried to pop the moulding back into place but it wouldn't stay. I'll let the dealer fix it (and the lumbar thingee).

The paint blemish is tiny -- kind of a raised, zit-like thing about the size of a pinhead.

You don't need the key in the ignition. Was at the dealer checking out the car and there was no key there, like Rod said, it's the master switch in the glove.

I took my car to the dealer for the same "problem" with the lumbar support. If you PRESS your back against the seat, and move the lumbar support, you will feel it. It is not very pronounced. I like the seats anyway but the additional support is negligible.
