high beam light bulb

Say I am sure this was mentioned before:

I was wondering if I could use the regular bulbs to replace the highbeams so they can match. If they are not compatible, do you guys know of something that is close to it?

thanks

Get the Solaris 9005. They are a good match for the stock headlights.

If you want cheaper, get the Nokya Arctic White 9005. Got them for $25 at autocarparts.com

I love them. They also show a blue color when in the housing. Much much brighter than stock.

I'm curious... has anyone tried the Phillips 9005? They're cheaper than the Solaris ($17 per bulb, I think?) http://www.autolamps-online.com/prod...05bvcentre.htm The blue color looks more subdued which I like.

Just lift the plastic reservoir bottle up... be careful when putting it back in as it can miss the tabs and fall in. Not fun playing 'go fish'

I dont think the people that responded understand what oyu are saying, you want to use the low beam bulbs on the high beams, right? Well, you definately CAN NOT do that. It won't even remotely fit. They are two completely different things, the low beam is xenon, the highs are halogen.

thanks,
Personally, I like the looks of Sylvania Silversta bulbs, very close to HID color. In fact, the HID has a color temp of like 4350 K or something, while the Silverstars are 4100 K. You can pick them up at any AutoZone

I replaced my high beams with PIAA Super Whites for $60. They are much brigher than stock, a good match for the low beams and barely show any blue when turned off.

I bought mine at:
