Well I've replaced the tires and learned to go easy on the 3rd and 4th gear upshifts. Gonna try this again. Last time (in June) the results sucked ass. Weather looks decent. Should be 75 by 9-10pm. We'll see what happens!

Which track are you heading to? I was thinking about hitting 75and 80 for a bit this Friday.

Actually now that you said something, I might come out as well... Being a DSMr for the first 8 years of my driving experience, I'm kind of anxious to see how the "other side" does it.
I've seen just as much support here from the acura guys as I have seen from the DSM guys, which is pretty cool because I did my fair share of honda-hating when I used to drive the turbo awds...

Sure, the S4 will have down pipes on in the next couple of weeks. At that point I will be done, DPs, Exhaust and Chip which should be good enough for high 12's. I'll wait for the K03s to fail (which probably won't if I wait) before I decide to go on further and get a turbo upgrade. But I might just be pleased with it enough to leave it alone.
I did get a toy though. I couldn't find a good NSX for the amount I wanted to put out to make a project car. But I did want something to drive on occasion which was fun and not too much. So I found a 2000 //M Roadster which was in near perfect condition:
We also still have the Sienna but that isn't something to really talk about. I do have the MR up for sale as we got a good deal. If it doesn't sell in a couple of months we will probably go ahead and get the Dinan SC kit for it. It is already a go-cart for the road, just needs a little more power.

So you just bought it and now you're trying to sell it?

Once you get above 300whp in these cars MPH means alot. The ET these cars run with 300+whp is far from what a car with similar weight and power would run if it were RWD. MPH on the other hand should be about the same. It's just the name of the game. I can't rev up to 4,000 rpm and drop the clutch like a GTO can. However, I can start off a little slower, and by the 1,000' mark pass the GTO and trap 4-5 MPH faster than him yet run approx the same ET.

Well put Steve. Did you make it to the track to run yesterday? I worked late and wasn't sure if it was open since it rained earlier.

The weather this week looks awesome. I can get to the track Friday night again (not calling for rain at all). There's also a few tracks open on the weekend. However I really don't like going to them because they are over an hour away and that's a LONG tow back home if something breaks.

What tracks are you talking about? Are you talking about MIR? That's a nice little ways for me.
