LED hyperblink fix
Hyperflashing happens because LEDs draw less power than a halogen bulb, putting less load on the line and making the car think the bulb is out. Adding more load to the line is the only way to send the correct signal to the car so that it does not think anything is wrong and the simplest way to do this is by adding resistors to the line.
I'm not sure if anyone makes these for the 3G TL but there's plug and play harnesses that fix hyperflashing for some cars. At the end of the day though, they're still just a resistor in a case.

Thanks for the reply. I'll follow the resistor route from this thread, soldering isn't a big deal really

FYI, I just stumbled upon LED turn signal bulbs that have the resistor built into the bulbs so that it draws the correct amount of power.
Here’s an example from Amazon:

It wouldn't be a mix of red/orange? I'm sticking to the resistor mod anyway since I already have the bulbs in hand
Instead of soldering in resistors and such, I just swap the flasher relay. I've done full LED conversions on my Accord and motorcycle and by swapping out the flasher relay, you don't need to solder anything. Just pop in LED bulbs and hyperflashing is gone.
