guys with intakes

just wondering if everyones intake makes the same noises mine does. When the car is on, the intake does its normal swoosh of air, but i noticed that when i press the buttons for the windows, lets say the windows are already down and u press it to go down more, the intake will make a little noise like a baby terradactyl

I have an AEM V2 on my car, and it does the same thing the OP mentioned, I thought it was normal and plus I like the swoosh of air, it sounds tight, can anybody confirm this? I do know that I need to clean the filter (its a dryflow) and I have the stuff to clean for it, but just been lazy

The swoosh is normal. I'm not quite sure what a baby terradactyl sounds like though.

They make a lot of strange noises. Hence why I swapped to the Icebox.

its normal. also when you turn on the a/c it will make a louder sucking noise. the engine has to work a little to power the electronics so that causes intake pressure changes. I personally love it, all sexy and mechanical sounding.

Baby pterodactyl. That's a new one. I get the whooshing sound, no pterodactyl sound though. This is with an Injen CAI on a Type-S.

I have a 6spd with the AEM CAI and i dont got any crazy noises other then the heavy breathing and the sucking sound when i turn it off... you should make sure it is fully tightened to the TB and make sure none of the hoses/clamps are loose or have holes in it...if all looks right then i would say its a normal noise...

anyone find a sound clip of a Baby Pterodactyl....
