Can u get 13" rotors for the front and the rear? If that is possible can stock calipers be used until aftermarket calipers are found to match the 13" rotors?

Also how much for rear pads?

This is only for stock size rotors

NOVA, do you know how much the rotors, ss lines, and pads are regularly? That may give me some more incentive to buy now. I checked there site, raceconcepts.net, but didn't see that info. Thanks.

here do this, call your acura dealer ask how much oem is, or better yet go to www.autocarparts.com and check since alot of peole shop from there. if your not interested then shit i could careless, when your rotors warp after warranty go and see how much it'll cost you from acura -400 bucks that what they charged honda under warranty...

Mmmm....I don't have these but I know when Austin hosted these a lot of guys are having problems with the rotor plating coming off and the rotor rusting...I'd check acura world .com or IM him as Austin 519 (sans the space) ...because he's found another distributor who does double coated stock rotors for a cheaper price to boot...he's my boy and has taken care of me well...

Any idea what is would cost to get all this shit installed?

If rear rotors were available, I'd really consider it. Another problem is, I don't know the first thing about brakes, and what would be the better rotor & pad to get.

two hour job usually, @75 dollars an hour probably 150

Damn, calm down. I was just wondering cause I definately want some better rotors and pads, but I'm a little short on mod funds right now. So if I saw how much it would save me to buy now rather than later, i might just do that.

Trust me I am totally calm, hehe that was posted right before I went to go buy the 740iL so i was alittle tense hehe mybad

No prob dude, enjoy that new ride.

I think so, cuz I had the rears replaced in January at the dealer, and it was around $400 for shitty parts and labor.

I'm gonna do these with a friend when he does his Supra brakes. We'll pull the parts off and paint the calipers on a Friday night, put them back together on Saturday, and if something takes too long, we'll still have Sunday. This way, I ain't payin' for labor...excpt some beer and food.

What I wish is that you could apply the cost of FACTORY parts & labor towards this upgrade system if your OEM parts warped.
That way Acura would cover half the cost or so and they wouldn’t be bothered by us for multiple repairs & replacement.
That sounds better then putting factory parts back in so they fail again and again.

Wayne, Jens….. Think you could push that past the bean counters at PAA ???

EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS!!

Just talked to Woody at Race Concepts. Had a good conversation with him. I was just running through everything just making sure of all of the details. I said "so these are just Brembo blanks that you guys machine" He said "no, these arent brembos they dont make brembos for your year." He said that these are an OEM quality rotor by a company called EMC or ECM, I cant remember which. Nova, can you look into this. I think it is important that we all know exactly what we are paying for.

While I don't think my rotors have "warped" yet, there is a grinding noise of sorts, at times, when I apply pressure to the brakes. Is that a sign of bad things to come???
