flashing check engine light

to start i have an 03 6 speed CL-S

the other day it was wet out and was in 1st gear and floored the car(foot off the cluthc pedal) cause had massive wheel hop. then while the car was bouncing the check engine light started to flash. i let of the gas pedal and it stopped. check for codes and had none.

did the same thing this morning on dry land(made the tires break loose in 1st gear) check engine light start to flash

anyone else have this happen?

Normal, the ECU just picked up soem random misfires due to the wheel hop and was just letting you know. It is fine and will happen on occasion.

it's happened a bunch of times and figured it was cause of the wheel hop, but never had it happen in my old car which had worse wheel hop than this car does

Excessive jarring on the engine. It may not be actual misfire but rather the ECU interpreting it as such.
