now if you look at the wheels it looks like a cl-p

the seats look like a cl-p

but the engine looks like a type-s motor??? does anyone actually have a ULEV sticker on the plastic above V-TEC?

and why does he/she not have any pictures of the driverside?

Well, it has a salvage title. Perhaps the person who rebuilt it stripped it of all the type-s stuff like seats and rims and put some cl-p stuff on. Very sketchy-

That is a CL-P VIN. He's obviously full of shit.

 

I'm pretty sure it's not a Type S. The CL-S's engine has red lettering. Seats aren't perforated. Type S's don't have the burlwood with black interior. All CL-S's with black interior has the black bowling ball pieces.

 

But is it a type-s motor? I thought the cl-p motors look very similar to the v6 accord??

also if you look at the rear pic shot you can see the type-s badge. This guy is really sneaky!!!

That is not the Type S engine. The type S engine does not have ULEV in green on it.

 

Sent the dude an email. Let's see what he has to say.

you can tell by vin # CL-S should be YA426(or427 forCL-S w/navy)

 

Report it to eBay. Explain that there are two different models with different features and performance (and price) and he's trying to pass it up as the higher model.

 

Engine cover says ULEV, Type-S is onlyLEV.

 

Since the car was hit on the drivers side the seller probably does not want to show the mis-aligned body panels.

Also this seller has no feedback, so I think he is just trying to pull a fast one.

i emailed ebay about this, they said there is nothing they can do about it. Its in the used agreement that it is up to the buyer to verify that the product being sold is actually what is described.

 

thats definately not a CL-S. no CL-S has those engine covers. and a CL-S is not ULEV...a CL-S is LEV.

this auction is definately bullshit

 

someone hack into his eBay auction and warn the others. Or you could just look at his bid history and email the people who have bid....

 

Anyone that buys a salvage title car sight-unseen from someone with ZERO feedback DESERVES to get screwed.

Someone should post an intentional fake auction for a CL-S- low-balling him and in big bold letters, explain what you have just described. Everyone looking for a CL-S will see your post.
