Hi everyone

Steve, on PM we talk about the E-Mange solution for the blown %AT. I am curious to see the gains in that application. It was mentioned that probably ModAddict will do the Dyno for his SC 5AT, however, I understand that he also has the high boost pulley. How would that affect the mapping? i don't have the high boost pulley. If I have to get it I will but for now my setup is CT SC, B-pipe, exhaust and headers.

MoodAddict, Scalbert you guys are gurus, your comment are very valuable and appreciated.

Without the HBP there really isn't a need for the e-Manage. It is only when you start pushing the limits that the fine tuning capability is useful.

It wasn't that bad, but when you get the taste of more, anything less is,..... well,.....less!

Tried to read all the pages but there are 20pages. I have decided to buy the e-manage and hardness. Can anyone give me the exact part number on the hardness and e-manage? Is the hardness a plug and play type? If not how many wires do I need to cut? Oh, do I need a set of new 370cc injectors? What else do I need? I would like to know the total damage, I hate hidden cost. Thanks

There is no PnP harness available yet, well maybe. FROG Engine Control may have one available now. Otherwise you could purchase their straight through harness and wire the e-Manage in yourself.

http://www.vtecfrog.com/

You'll have to call or email them to find out for sure. But to wire it requires twenty five total leads to be tapped or spliced in series.

You can purchase it here:

http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/

Just get this package:

- E-manage + Support Tool + ignition & injector Harness (4 items)
This Package for ONLY $449* (Save $31!)

You will not need the larger injector right away. But I would suggest some means of knowing the A/F ratio such as a wide band monitor. You will also need a laptop running some version of Windows (98 or higher, I run XP Pro).

What if we get enough people together to go in on the PnP for the E-Manage? How many people are willing to buy the E-manage and get the PnP hardness?

Unless you are running some form of forced induction, the e-Manage doesn't do much for the car.

In that case...

But Greddy will not make a harness for this car. So it is up to us. As mentioned, FROG can or will supply them and a GB is possible but not likely considering the limited number of blown owners.

Didn't you tell me that the 6spd and auto harnesses (plug requirements) are different?

That is correct, different number of pins on one of the relevant connectors. FROG is trying to get the 6-Speed connectors (same problem as us but they need larger quantities) as the new AV6 are the same. They already have the 5AT connectors and last I heard could make a harness.

Not sure what to update anymore??

It is working and does exactly what I need it to do with the blower installed. With more boost the dependancy on it will be even greater.

I'm not sure but I beleive they can be had for the 5AT. We'll have to see what sgmotoring says or contact FROG direct. They don't have the 6-Speed connectors yet but there are ways of obtaining the connectors and making the harness.

I have one F.S. for the 5AT, and it comes with the main unit, and support tool.

"Stan,

Thank you for your interest in our products. Although we don't advertise a harness for your application, we are able to build them. We don't have a harness for the new TL, 2003 CL or 2003-on Accord. I'm not sure if the E-manage is compatible for the Models mentioned, but we will have the parts in the near future for those applications. As for all other models you inquired about, we can make a harness for them. Currently we don't make our E-manage harnesses P&P since demand is not high enough. The non P&P harness has all the connections pulled out of the extension ready to solder, so no damage to the factory wiring either. Should you organize a group buy, we can discuss making them all P&P if the numbers are high enough. "

If the demands are high enough, than they will consider the production of PnP hardness for the E-manage. How many people are willing to buy the Pnp?

We had come to the conclusion there was no need to change the vtec,.... because it was ok where it was,.....and we couldn't.
