My first trans. just died and has been replaced last week. My question is they replaced the trans and the ecm. I just placed the order for my comptech headers, which will be here next tuesday and was wondering if the techs had to remove the exhaust manifolds to take the trans out. If so they probably had to replace the gaskets too, which saves me from buying a new set. I called the service department and the service manager wasn't sure. Any insight will be great thanks guys.

 

They would probably just remove the lower pipe but that should have gotten you 2 new metal donut gaskets. Unfoutunately I don't think they are re-usable once they've been crushed.
