Went on their website, and they no longer list the 200HP Cougar Type S, instead they have a riced up "ZN" model with the 170HP V6....

Maybe Honda Sued?

i think. might be a part of the SVT line. I was looking at the cougar cause it was cheaper but wasn't impressed with the engine.

Well, it is the same engine that used to be in the Probe GT and Mazda MX6...they are not too bad (Engineered by Mazda), but some folks reported extensive engine/tranny problems..

When the Cougar first came out, I fell in love with the looks for the car. When I look at it now, it makes me sick...kinda like a goldfish with eyes sticking out...

When you say "first came out," do you mean the latest body style or the Cougar model itself (circa 1966)? The late-60s models had the coolest taillights around!

i love the look. I wish they'd do something about the engine.....put some headers from the factory and then you have a nice little screamer.....

Hey, I saw one of those last saturday when I went to go take my drivers improvment test in Manassass. It parked next to me and after seeing the yellow and ugly spoiler I just thought it was riced out by someone. Never imageind it came like that from dealer. The yellow looks much uglyer in person.

My friend has a 99' Cougar V6, the backing of the front seats is Hollow... you can push though it...
