and you're forgetting all the stuff that is standard on the cl-s that isn't included in the a6 2.7t base price...

s4's are also in the upper 30's/lower 40's.

admittedly, even with the comptech s/c, the cl-s isn't going to go beating up on chipped audis too much, but the price differential is much greater than the $525 for a chip.

I dont know what you are not getting on a6 2.7 that the CL-S has. All I can see is Bose and Sunroof. Just purchase those two options and you have a much nicer interior than a CL-S.

Nicer interior than our CL's, yes

Much nicer interior.... no - Seats are just not nearly as comfortable, and the red amber glow gets annoying to me

absolutely. the a6 2.7t is a terrific car and has features that you can't even get on the cl-s.

no real surprise there - it really ought to considering the price differential.

that defeats the purpose of getting an S4. the S4 is attractive because you could get a really nice for ~$40k, spend $1,200 in Mods and have a badazz Car.
