Comptech Headers and Exhaust

Hello Guys,

I am looking to purchase the comptech hears and the comptech axle back dual exhaust. Will both of these pieces fit perfectly, or will I need to purchase something else additional. If anybody has both both of these items for their vehicle, any advice will be greatly appreciated. Time is of the essence, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
DubbinCLS

They will fit without and modification. Most people will tell you to skip the exhaust. It gives you very little gains (almost nothing) for the money. Save the cash for a supercharger or other mods.

Ok.. I need a new exhaust system anyways, so what better way to go that the comptech exhaust right? Also, is the exhaust suppossed to come with all of the piping and everything or does the exhaust only consist of the two mufflers?

headers are a really good power upgrade. but exhaust is minimal, and for the price, expensive. cat back exhaust consists of the "b-pipe" that runs from the cat to the mufflers, and then u got the axle back which consists of the mufflers. minimal power gains. get the headers, intake, pulley. best bangs for the buck.

Already got the intake, pulley is on the way as well, I really like the look of the exhaust and my friend is trying to sell his slightly used (under 1,000 miles) for $350.. For all of the people who did install the comptech headers with the dual exhaust, did they replace out any stock piping to get the true performace of the headers and the exhaust?

I picked up my set of slightly used CT axlebacks for $200.

Many people are misled by what CT says. They are saying that the full catback system doesnt make any more power over just the axlebacks.

You shouldnt need to modify anything. The bolts on the header to cat are most likely rusted though, as are the bolts on the mufflers.

i have both. they fit without any modification. if you want the full comptech header to exhaust, you'll also need the b-pipe

Where can I find the b-pipe? Any suggestions on where to get it or the price of the piece?

AZN is right. the b-pipe is probably pretty hard to find now. you're probably better off to get a shop to custom make the pipe. i got mine locally a few years ago and it was the only one around at the time
