Comptech Fuel Pressure regulator

Any reason to add this on a non supercharged, non NOS car? Will it do anything?

May I ask why you would want to upgrade the fuel pressure?.. The N/A car runs RICH already.......

Not for the CLS. General question.

Still, even if not for the CL-S but for another NA vehicle, it would most likely be worthless.

what about slightly leaning it out. That should create a slight increase in power right??? Also this can be done w/ a V-AFC or e-manage right??

No, because it is fairly linear and closer to a standard FPR when in vacuum. So you cannot lean it out by dropping the pressure. The ECU would detect the lean condition during idle and part throttle and adjust the fuel trim to the positive side. This would then be utilized during WOT pulls adding pulse width.

It may be useful at the track though by dropping the pressure right before a run to lean it out some and before the ECU has compensated. However, by the time you got back to the staging lanes after a run the fuel trim would be on the positive side.

Allright so basically how would I generate more power w/ the V-AFC or the e-manage set-up??

Because you want to have the ability to tune yourself, the e-Manage will be your only real option. Since you can adjust timing as well as fuel (and have better resolution and finite mapping) you will have the ability to make more power with the e-Manage.
