CL-S 5AT vs EVO 8 ~Video Inside~
I had a 180lb passenger the evo had no one. Mods on my car are AIM CAI, XS Header, UR Crankshaft Pulley, Hi-Flow Cat
Evo has drop in filter, 3in catback and WORKS stage 2 reflash/tune
Raced up to 100mph than I shut off, he kept going we'll see how I do when I get my 2.5in piping and my NEO tuned.
Btw we're both laughing about the penguin he had hanging from his undercarriage in the back, it was flying around swinging.

i'll have to check this out one of these days...youtube's blocked at work and my laptop's acting up at home sounds like it should be a good vid though, any cliffs?

Whats so surprising about pulling on an evo in 1st? and btw it was a 25mph roll, he was at almost 4k, boost builds at 3.5k in a stock 8 and his is reflashed. And why do you think he should have 2 lengths on me? do you know what a evo 8 puts down stock? From a dig it would be a different story but in this case the CL has the advantage in a roll.

Ah, I guess when I think of 1st gear in an auto CL-S, I am thinking of a dig because there is only a small range that you can use 1st from a roll.
But ya, I can understand if its from a 25mph roll and you downshift from 2nd to 1st even for a brief second.

look to me like you got the jump and held him off through 2nd gear. as soon as you shift into 3rd he starts pulling on you hard. good run...lose the passenger next time

We'll get a legit race once I get my 2.5in catback and NEO dyno tuned, we'll see how hard I pull on him.
